Born on the teepad

Long before apps, before smartphones, before anyone was calling it "disc golf" — some old guys with too much time and too many dollar bills figured out the best way to settle a debate on the course. Slap a dollar on the teepad, everyone else throws theirs on top, and whoever gets closest to the basket wins the pot. But not before their friends kick a little dirt on the losing dollars first.

Times change. Gas is expensive, nobody carries cash, and that crisp dollar bill on the teepad is a thing of the past. So we built Dirty Chains CTP — same trash talk, same bragging rights, same dirt-kicking energy. Just without needing to raid your couch cushions for singles before every round.

Lazy Dog Apps LLC was born out of one simple idea: a nerdy guy from Ypsilanti with big dreams, a love for disc golf, and way too much fun playing on computers decided to build the app he always wished existed. One tee shot, one late night, one crazy idea at a time.
